Job Summary

Effectively register patients in EPIC. Appropriately complete and update insurance verification and eligibility process.

  • High School grad. & 2 yrs. College (preferred).
  • At least 3 yrs. of Hospital Admission and/or ER Registration (preferred).
  • Min 2 yrs. exp. in Healthcare Revenue Cycle (preferred)
  • Medical Terminology (preferred).
  • Able to multi-task & work in a fast pace environment w/conflicting demands on time & attention.
  • PC literacy:  Basic core computer skills & navigation skills.  General knowledge of office equipment.
  • Knowledge on HMO, PPO, Medicare & Medi-Cal & third-party payers (preferred).

Strong collection skills (required).
