Job Summary

Assist the medical staff with credentials and privileging process, managing the OPPE/PPE process, facilitating medical staff committee meetings, minutes and follow-up, CME, maintaining credentialing database, and other related responsibilities as required.  Qualifications:  A minimum of (3) yrs. exp. in credentialing/medical staff office (hospital setting), familiarity with the current joint commission standards, state and federal law pertaining to the medical staff, certification by the NAMSS as a certified professional medical services management or certified provider credentialing specialist.
