Job Summary

Assists the Medical Staff Director with   credentialing and privileging process, manages the PPE/OPPE process, facilitating medical staff committee meetings, minutes and follow-up, CME, maintaining credentialing database and other related responsibilities as required. Qualifications:  A minimum of 5 yrs. exp. In a credentialing/acute hospital medical staff office (Preferred). Must be familiar with the current Joint Commission Standards, State and Federal law pertaining to the medical staff (Required). Certification by the NAMSS and/or CPCS/CPMSM (Preferred), and must have within one year.
